His owner chuckled and scratched behind the dog’s ears and said “Stop telling tales - you’re a big boy now.” and the dog wandered off perfectly satisfied that the incident had been dealt with.

It’s a great feeling when your dog is so close to you that it runs to you for every little problem, instead of trying to fight its way by itself.
